This may be old news to some but I was wondering how this copyright infringement case played out. This was just posted on FB and I had to share it, incase anyone out there was not following this case.

For all my friends who love eerie sci-fi . The top photo reminds me of the 3 fingers from the alien in the original “War of The Worlds”. I always ask myself this question, “If Orson Welles was going to make a Horror film today what would he do?”

For 2013, I wish for a ballsy enough woman to frankly call out, confront and lay down the real face cards about the double edge swords and unconscious fears continually projected onto single female directors and women professionals out there in film land without getting the boring mathematical percentile stats, blah, blah blah or worn out hypocritical gender backlash. It’s 2013 for gods sake! Obama’s inaugural speech doesn’t mean shit if no one believes in it in the first place. Give your soul sisters a hand, trust me we’ll all be better for it. The topic has become more taboo than talking about same sex marriage. Very lame indeed.

Moving the office space around. Getting the new energy flowing in room. One day hopefully sooner than later I can finish that Bowie portrait. If it is a prosperous year I can get a bigger space and get my easel and oil paints out and keep them set up all the time. Come on 2013!

IT CAME TO MIND TODAY: 2013, it’s a good year to break patterns and spread tangible reciprocal support, create new opportunities and expand creative collaborations with groups and people outside of the insular comfort zone. I think 2012 was a year in personal survival, internal growth and steady self achievement. However, I hope this year many individuals within creative communities will make the effort to spread the dynamic possibility of going beyond mere self advancement and attainment. I’m rooting for the folks that almost lost it all in 2012 or never got their chance or break or had to go it alone or scrape by to make it to the next day and through a tough year. 2013, seems like the perfect paradigm-shift kind of year for giving back and opening up the creative and spiritual circles a bit wider.

For all things mysterious this Samhain (Halloween). The thinning of the veil between 3 realms; the physical, the spiritual and the psychic. I’m proud of this of this work. Enjoy this dark fantasy! :)

Keeper of the dark secrets and truths of the hidden few who consider themselves overly important innovators and virtuosos. What appears to be progressive magic and awe to others will always be mere base mechanics in my mind. Smoke and mirrors.

Although it is spoken and read that people can change, I am not too sure, for the few I refer to are those who will never make amends, take stock or self accountability.

It’s amazing how much creatively pathological sociopaths are coddled, applauded, nurtured and rewarded in today’s society. Sickening at best but never the less the way of the hungry ghost world.

Somewhere above, some kind of force is taking note in a little black book about the things that have been witnessed down here.

Magic is a supernatural gift that should never be stolen, used for harm, taken for granted or dismissed in those you share your world with.

Remember, there will always be the watchful eyes of those who can see through the wave of the magic wand.
